Katie Pike is an experienced music educator with more than 16 years of K–12 teaching in schools and community settings. She has taught a wide range of music classes—including general music, choir, band, guitar, and ukulele—and has mentored future teachers through Michigan State University’s College of Music. At the MSU Community Music School, Katie teaches early childhood music, sharing her passion for helping young children and their families discover the joy of music-making together. In addition to her work at CMS, Katie serves as Assistant Director of Alumni Relations at the MSU College of Law. She holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music education from Michigan State University and is certified in early childhood music through the Gordon Institute of Music Learning.
